Ann has written a memoir about how, for 40 years, a tumor bled in her brain, controlling who she’d been all her life . . . and how a dangerous daylong surgery freed her from its grasp. Her essays have appeared in a number of literary journals, and she has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
